Meet Charlette Harper, the woman behind Young Actors of Hollywood. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Charlette's journey into entertainment began as a preteen actor and model. What started as a young girl's passion for performing eventually grew into a career dedicated to discovering, developing, and inspiring the next generation of young talent.
FROM ATLANTA TO HOLLYWOOD
Charlette founded Young Actors of Atlanta, an acting school created to train, inspire, and prepare aspiring young performers for the world of film and television.
Over the years, she has helped develop young talent whose professional credits include productions associated with Disney, Nickelodeon, ABC, HBO, Netflix, and Marvel.
Her experience extends far beyond the classroom. As a professional on-set acting coach and former talent manager, Charlette has gained valuable experience on both the creative and business sides of the entertainment industry. Her journey eventually took her from Atlanta to Los Angeles, where she continued expanding her career, industry experience, and vision for developing young performers.

For Charlette, Young Actors of Hollywood is about more than teaching children how to act. It's about building confidence, encouraging individuality, developing professional skills, and creating an environment where young people can dream big while enjoying the journey. With her Southern charm, free-spirited personality, and love for Hollywood, Charlette brings a fresh, exciting approach to youth acting education. She believes young actors should be challenged to grow, encouraged to express themselves, and reminded that their individuality is one of their greatest strengths.

After years of working with young performers and their families, Charlette recognized something important: young actors aren't the only ones who need preparation. Parents do, too.
That belief inspired YAH Next Level, an exclusive talent and industry development program designed to prepare young actors for potential talent agency and management consideration while educating parents on how to navigate the entertainment industry.
Through personalized development, private coaching with professional working actors, and weekly parent education, Charlette's mission is to help families approach the industry with greater knowledge, confidence, and preparation.
